Understanding the gut–mind connection and supporting your system to respond differently.
Support for people whose gut symptoms are shaped not only by digestion itself, but also by stress, anticipation, fear and the body’s learned response over time.
A short, no-pressure conversation to explore whether this support is the right fit.
The gut and the brain are in constant communication.
The 6-week gut-brain recalibration
The gut and the brain are in constant communication.
This means that digestion is not only influenced by food or physical processes, but also by stress, emotion, anticipation, attention and the nervous system’s overall state.
For some people, this communication loop becomes more reactive over time. The body may start responding strongly to gut sensations, urgency, pain, bloating or discomfort, and that response can then increase fear, hypervigilance and stress.
In other words, the gut can influence the mind, and the mind can influence the gut.
That does not mean symptoms are “just in your head.” It means the gut–brain connection is real, and it can shape how symptoms are experienced and maintained.
The 4-week internal reset
This may be relevant if:
Stress seems to make symptoms worse
You feel on alert around food, outings, bathrooms or travel
Urgency, pain or bloating create fear or anticipation
Symptoms affect daily decisions and confidence
The body seems to react before you can think your way through it
When symptoms are unpredictable or distressing, many people begin to adapt around them.
They may start avoiding certain foods, places or situations. Travel can feel harder. Workdays can feel more stressful. Social plans may begin to revolve around bathrooms, urgency, pain or the fear of a flare-up.
Over time, the issue is often no longer just the symptom itself. It can become the whole response pattern around the symptom — including fear, stress, anticipation, hypervigilance and the body staying on alert.
That is where support aimed at the gut–mind connection can be helpful.
My approach combines evidence-informed hypnotherapy with practical, structured support.
The work is designed to help you understand what is happening beneath the surface, calm the nervous system response underneath it, and create change that can be felt in daily life.
This can be especially helpful when the pattern keeps repeating even though part of you already knows what needs to change.
Calm and structured
Support that is clear, practical and designed to feel manageable.
Root-level change
Work with the nervous system and subconscious patterns underneath the issue.
Real-life integration
The aim is not just insight in session, but change that holds outside it.
Some people come because of gut symptoms or IBS-related stress. Others because of anxiety, overwhelm, repeating patterns or feeling stuck.
In the Clarity Call, we explore what is happening and work out the most supportive next step together.
If it feels like the right fit, I'll recommend the most appropriate hypnotherapy support pathway based on what is happening and what you want help with.

Recommendation
You'll receive a recommendation for the support pathway that best fits your needs.

Clear next steps
I'll send an email outlining the recommended program and how to begin.

Confirm and book
Once you confirm and pay for your first session, you can book in and begin.

Begin support
Support usually begins through either a 4-week pathway or a 6-week gut-directed hypnotherapy pathway.
The work is calm, structured and designed to create change that can be felt in daily life — not just understood inside the session.

Book a Clarity Call
A short, no-pressure conversation to understand what is happening, what you want support with, and whether this work feels like the right fit.

Identify the right pathway
Based on what is coming up, we decide together whether individual sessions, gut-directed hypnotherapy, or another focused pathway makes the most sense.

Begin tailored support
Sessions are calm, structured and guided by what is happening beneath the surface — not just what is most obvious on the outside.

Create change in real life
The aim is not only insight inside the session, but a more usable response in daily life: more safety, clarity, confidence and ease.
A few practical questions people often ask before booking.
No. The Clarity Call is where we explore what is happening and work out the most appropriate next step together.
Most clients begin through a structured pathway, as this helps create consistency and momentum. The recommended approach depends on what you need support with.
The 4-week pathway is typically used for non-gut concerns such as stress, anxiety, repeating patterns and personal change. The 6-week pathway is for gut-directed hypnotherapy and IBS / gut-brain symptoms.
Hypnotherapy for anxiety focuses on patterns such as overthinking, worry, nervous system overload and emotional reactivity.
Gut-directed hypnotherapy is a more specific approach for IBS and gut-brain symptoms, especially when stress, urgency, symptom fear or nervous system reactivity are part of the pattern.
Yes. Online hypnotherapy can help when IBS or stress-related symptoms are influenced by nervous system activation, subconscious patterns, stress or symptom-related fear.
If it feels like the right fit, I will send an email after the call outlining the recommended next step and how to confirm and pay for your first session.
Yes. Sessions are offered online, so support is accessible from your own space.
Not always. This depends on the nature of the issue, but we can discuss what is most appropriate during the Clarity Call.
The first step is a short conversation to understand what is happening and whether this support is the right fit.
